Project Overview
Nestled near the edge of Amboseli National Park, Kimana presents a unique challenge: protecting farmland from frequent wildlife intrusion while preserving the natural ecosystem. Our client needed a long-range, high-resilience electric fence that wouldn’t harm wildlife but would effectively secure the property.
What we delivered
Over 2 kilometers of electric fencing installed using pressure-treated eucalyptus posts
10-strand high-tensile galvanized wires with strategically spaced energizers
Integrated solar-powered energizer system with backup batteries for consistent voltage supply
Double-row fence gates for controlled access and additional security
Warning signage in compliance with safety standards
🎯 Aesthetic & Safety in Harmony
The fencing in Kimana strikes a balance between rugged durability and environmental sensitivity. The timber poles complement the rural savannah surroundings, while the neat alignment and minimal visual interference ensure unobstructed views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop.
